San (Bushman) elder's falling moon dream
Geelboy, an elder in a small San village on the Namibia side of the border with Botswana, recalled a dream.
"I saw the moon fall from the sky. It landed right at my feet," said Geelboy in his succinct conversational way. "It was burning hot to the touch. It burned the ground."
